Hello,
I followed the thread about jammed mails, I have a jammed Yam when
downloading my mails.
I switched provider and also have a new pop3 server.
Following happens:
When downloading my mail using Yam, the downloading sometimes stops just at
the end of a message. Sometimes it's just the last 80 bytes, or a couple of
100's.
When this happens, Yam also completely hangs. Doesn't react anymore...
I found a 'solution' for this: using Commander from Executive I signal the
Yam task.
Yam task is always waiting for signal '12'..... when I signal it, a
requester pops up: "Continue" or "Abort".
When I select continue, Yam continues downloading everything work again...
This happens in let's say 1 of 10 emails.
Anyone know what this is?
What is signal "12"?
Is Yam the problem?
Is my POP3 server not "Yam/Amiga" compaitable?
Any suggestions would be welcome...
